CIF Round Two – Skydome, North Pennines Astronomy Society

Small groups were recruited from each of the four Northern Heartlands areas, working in teams to capture time lapses of the day and night sky in a location they felt is representative of where they live. Footage was edited into clips by the project leader and screened as one film, using a fisheye projector and a 5-metre inflatable planetarium, with the aim of representing the skyscapes and sounds for an indoor audience. The film will be distributed across the world, through a network of amateur and semi-professional planetarium operators.
