CIF Round Three – Woodland Wellbeing, Brightwoods Forest School CIC

This project, continuing until December 2019, is aimed at promoting the mental health and wellbeing in adults who feel socially and emotionally isolated.  Prompted by the extensive research indicating that spending time in nature acts as an aid and stimulus for participants to improve their health and wellbeing, Brightwoods Forest School has delivered a series of heritage-based creative workshps at Deepdale Nature Reserve for adults who have been referred to the programme.  Activities have included foraging, charcoal-making, natural casting and exploring historical heritage.
